At Arc Solutions, we understand that your new IT system must deliver the best experience to the people who use your system.
Arc Solutions makes it a high priority to understand all users’ requirements and obtain ‘buy in’ from them so that their requirements are understood, and everything they need is carried through to implementation.
Our principal consultant, Simon Wright, has developed a detailed understanding of the importance of user-focused delivery over 20 years, and will ensure you can deliver with your IT systems.
About Simon
Simon has played a key role in implementing new software and major releases at Mansfield Building Society. This included project managing the implementation of the mortgage application system and managing the mortgage user team over many years. It also led to Simon specifying system parameters for new products and FSA statutory reports.
Such is Simon’s attention to detail that the work led to HMRC changing their guidance, which saved unnecessary hours of statutory regulation work.
Simon, who is a qualified PRINCE 2 practitioner, graduated with an MSc in Management in 2008 from Sheffield Hallam University. The course has helped Simon develop his skills so that the service he offers as a consultant will help your business receive the most cost-effective strategies and planning.
Project Management for Business Continuity/ Disaster Recovery
You never know whether your business continuity really works until the real thing happens – and then it is too late!
An effective way to help identify the deficiencies in your arrangements is regular tests. This has the added benefit of helping to embed the business continuity culture in your organisation. Many firms do not have time to prepare and manage these tests, but Arc Solutions can make these vital tests achievable by designing and managing them for you.
Kingdom Bank took advantage of Arc Solutions’ project management consultancy to manage its tests and provide structured feedback on all aspects of the exercise. This enabled the bank to check the adequacy of its new business continuity arrangement and prepare for the real thing with an updated plan.
Charity Consultancy
Simon has been a charity trustee for over 20 years serving on both community and church charity boards.
